Title: Re: Love when a seller knows how to ship properly
Post by: Nick on March 09, 2024, 02:40:20 pm
Yes I saw this one when it came up on e-bay, at a very tempting price. I knew it would not last long, but one of my concerns was that it might get damaged in shipping, given its size, weight, and all the parts that could break. Clearly I was wrong, but I am glad to see that it went to you, in fine shape.
Another came up the next day or so that was quite a bit higher and nowhere near the quality. I am very happy with this one and hope the builder can make it to Rollag sometime in the near future…

Looks like some packages I received from Poland and Oz.  :)

This one came all the way from Washington. Had a great talk with the 79 y/o builder 1800 miles away and we know the same guy from Rollag that owns a steam roller! I am much happier with this Rudy Kouhoupt 3/4” traction engine than the previously owned, pop riveted project I had.

Stupendous.

Does this mean the other one is going to be for sale?  :)

You could just use the same crate!

The other one went on to a new owner 3 years ago, been waiting for a good replacement since.
