Perhaps you should consider adding this Demure Damsel, to sit alongside that Dapper Driver!?!?

A bit of roadster history linked below. It seems to be a 1st year 1976 model based on having 6-spoke wheels, no boiler sight glass, and an alcohol burner. I'll have to find a source for that burner as it is missing - although I doubt I'll ever fire it considering it's unfired.

Hah! A pretty sophisticated guy with that scarf and those driving goggles. I'm afraid he'd always be gone in the roadster, and I would never get to play with it.  :D

He would be a nice added touch.

Happy Steaming!

No I don't think it was fired, that's not scorched. That's an oldy alright, end of boiler
has an overflow, not a sight glass. Now you need one of these and you be styling.

Just purchased a late 1970s - early 1980s Mamod Roadster from Ebay. From the pictures, it looks to be in good condition, and the price was right compared to a new one. The seller says it belonged to his father and he thinks it is unfired.

It just looks like fun. :)
