Title: Re: New to Me Empire B-35

a user commented they wanted to see the turbine run an accessory.  I figured I'd try my small B-47 small Windmill but didn't expect it to run well but I was proven wrong.

Thanks guys - here is a little follow up video after I installed that washer between mount/pulley.

Perfect Upcycle Rich.

Glad you fixed the clanking noise!

Thanks @txlabman!

I even fixed that annoying clacking sound.  I used a washer between the pulley and mount, which allowed me to get things a little tighter yet not lose free rotation movement of the shaft.  Not 100% why that helped as I would have thought a washer perhaps between the turbine and mount would be the fix.  But I guess getting that side to side slop is what was needed.

My old one is all boxed up and off to its new owner!

Title: New to Me Empire B-35

I been looking for a B-35 Turbine that is in a bit of better shape than my current one and got one in today.  Which the B-35 that I have had is what got me into Empires in the first place.  My B-30, 31 and 42 are in pretty good shape, so B-35 just looked a bit out of place.  I also wanted the earlier style tank to match the others, so it took me a bit.

This B-35 is complete, even has the whistle topper!  The turbine was really clacking on its cage/cover when it arrived, I got the sharp clinking noise corrected but there is still a dull clanking nose.  It isn't awful, so I likely leave it alone.  There for a bit I didn't think the turbine would kick off from a dead stop but then during the video it proved me wrong - ha!

It looks like my currently B-35 will be going to a good home to help offset this purchase.  I suppose if that falls through I'll end up giving it to my brother.
