Folks, my first Stuart engine arrived today and it was quite a challenge.
Out of the box the engine wouldn’t turn over. Something went ajar in shipping. I managed to fix it by taking the entire engine apart and even pulling the piston out of the cylinder block. Re oiled everything, redid timing, etc. it is smooth as butter now. I don’t know why the cylinder was getting hung up half way into the stroke.
