@Stoker may be right about the Mamod being an Minor 1.  I was keying off the flywheel having spokes instead of a solid disk, but your engine has a 9-hole base (long side), not a 13-hole which is another defining characteristic.

Known, guessed and other:


1.  Jensen 65

2.  Mamod Minor 1

3.  Four-cylinder oscillating engine which appears to have a reversing throttle valve, may be homebuilt from bar stock, but does look professional if not commercial!?!?

4. Similar to a small to medium sized horizontal Stuart ... but it is not.

5.  Stuart 10H

6. & 7.  About the size of a Stuart Victoria, or slightly bigger, but it is not.

8.  Weeden 641

9.  Stuart 7A & 10V

10.  Stuart Boiler Feed Pump, very small single cylinder horizontal oscillator (likely homebuilt from bar stock), Model of a Worthington twin cylinder feedwater pump.

Some of these more advanced models could well have been built from casting "kits" by a home machinist and may have been from various sources.

Hopefully others with more specific knowledge of some of these engines, will chime in here soon with the needed information.

WOW ..... You certainly have an enviable collection there.

Your green frame and black based horizontal engine with the wooden lagging on the cylinder (on your Google page) is very similar to a G. Sipp engine, but it is not, as near as I can tell, so what it is will be of interest no doubt.

I think this will take some time to digest.

When my Father-In-Law passed away several years ago, 2015, he was very active in the Florida Flywheeler's engine club. As he was aging, he began downsizing from larger and heavier hit and miss flywheel engines to smaller steam models. These smaller engines were taken to shows in Florida and were shown/run on compressed air. It has taken a while to get to a point that I have been able to put together a photo gallery of the models. There are many models some that can be identified, mostly Stuart, Jensen, Mamod and a number of unknown with a single Saito. I would like to ask this community for any assistance in identifying the individual models and if there is any interest is acquiring one please also reach out to me. I have attached a few photos as well as a link to the Google drive folder containing the collection photos.
