Some of the mini-series we're talking about here are a little less robust, a bit flimsier or more delicate seeming, but to get these little gems to actually work, some concessions must be made to lightness of mechanism.

Yes, generally they do seem pretty well built, but I don't think they hold a candle to the solid construction of the Tarot engine for example, but then that is at a completely different order of magnitude for scale!

Daniel, compared to other PRC stirling engines that I have bought.....this little one really is top shelf quality.

That's the way to do it all right!

There are the ten engines in the J06 series

Wow....can't wait to get them all (if possible).

I don't go for the BIN listed ones...just low start auctions.

Daniel, I was unaware that there were a series of them. It was late at night and I was browsing and saw it and put a low bid on it and went to sleep and in the morning I had lucked out and got it.

It's size is just something to behold and its a great little runner and after making the video, of course I had to whilst away some hours mucking around with it.

I'm on the hunt to add more now that I know that there are more!

My eldest Grandson would be over the moon to get a couple of these in his Christmas stocking and I'd like to put a few away for my new youngest Grandson :)

I take it that OKMO is Jin selling under another name?

Yes, that is my take on it, just Jin offerings under a different brand, but I could most certainly be wrong about that.

There are the ten engines in the J06 series that I know of, and there is also the J01, J02, J03 and J07 ..... don't know what happened to the J04 & J05, only know I have yet to see one on offer.

They typically try to sell any of these little Stirling engines with a "full price" up around $100 or a bit less, but the ones I've managed to get have sold for less than half of that, with a couple coming in at less than a quarter. I'm not sure all the models are still being listed, but do a search and find what you can.

I think it is nothing short of incredible how well these little buggers operate!

The entire "J06" series of Stirling Cycle engines are of a similar size as the J06D that you are showing in this video, and I think some of them are even a bit smaller in overall size, though perhaps their displacer and power piston diameters or displacements are not.

They do list your J06D as "The World's Smallest Stirling Engine", but then later in the series they make the claim that the J06H is the "New World's Smallest Stirling Engine". I don't think it much matters, as the whole series of ten engines (A thru K skipping I) are of a size that staggers the imagination for micro-precision in tiny operating mechanisms. Their R06 Robinson is also of impressively small displacement, and the fact that with a little luck, most any of them could be picked up for the proverbial "Song" off of evilbay, just makes them all that much more amazing to my mind!

Again, the most amazing thing to me, is just how well they actually do perform, especially considering their diminutive size. Whether any of them truly are the "World's Smallest" I rather doubt, but they most certainly are mighty damn small to be running sooooooooo good and likely are the smallest that have been produced in numbers at this scale!!!
