That looks to be an interesting application of the clockwork mechanism. Don't know if I've ever seen it used on a tracked vehicle before!

Perhaps it was looking for a libation after putting on such a strenuous demonstration?    ;c)

This one was made in the 1920 and is driven by clockwork.
Very sturdy and funny - in the short video the driver parked
directly under my "Schnaps" cart - pictured together with my
Maerklin steam tractor. Arnold :D
