That's great to hear, bringing kids into the world of steam, you have my utmost support on that front.

I'll check the link out when on lunch later. 😉

The M&MSR is now online so that anyone interested can see what's new (or old):

Not much new on the outdoor steam railway. I'll be filling in those gaps in the deck when I have some time in a few weeks. I'm really glad that I left out switches (points). With Split Jaw rail clamps in place, the track work is super quiet. Everything has stayed level so far.

The Midland Sidings shunting puzzle (though not live steam...) is now Isle of Man themed, though clearly freelance, and has had quite a few changes since I mentioned it elsewhere a while ago.

I'm also running a model railroading elective course for some of my Grade 4 students beginning next month. We'll study principles of electric and steam locomotive operations, economics of railroading, scale and size (using scale rulers and math), logic puzzles (using a 'portable' G scale Inglenook Sidings) and, most importantly, run trains! This will be, pun intended, a STEAM class - to use the latest U.S. educational flavor of the month terminology. It's all good stuff, though. I've shared some of my live steam videos and the kids are mesmerized, so that's a good sign.
