I do like this plant & hope to capture one myself some day, I just did a loom on eBay & he has 37 listed at this time.

Hi Wayne, just answered you on Youtube, hope that's of some help......if not yell out ok.

Cool engine - I received one for Christmas.
One question - do you prime it (in the tiny cup) with the engine running
or before the run? dtjsteam says while it is running. I primed before
but no drips. Then I primed with a small drop of steam oil into the bottom
of the cup and it worked a good drip, drip, drip. Go figure. Am I deluded?
Did I do a bad thing...that worked? Any bad side-affects I haven't anticipated?

When I let the water dribble over my finger tip Daniel its pretty hot, not steaming but not far off.

I agree with all you say .... it really is a beautifully constructed engine that runs as good as it looks!
My one minor disappointment with it is that it only seems to pump water very weakly, more of a dribble than a stream. But then considering the size, it is somewhat amazing that it pumps water at all!!!
Perhaps the pump could be checked to see if maybe better seals or piston rings might make a difference? I haven't done that yet, but it is on my list, at about #1,097,342

Okmo Microcosm Rider Ericsson Hot Air pumping Stirling Engine Model R01
What a beautifully constructed engine, it really is exquisitely made and assembled.
This is my first Rider Ericsson that I have ever bought and I'm extremely happy with it.
