I have an early Stuart with a date from the teens scratched into the underside and several from the late ‘20’s to early ‘30’s
Photos!??
I know a couple are in my 365 day thread, good luck finding them 😆
My Stuarts are not here so can’t get any new pics…
I’ve seen a ton of your pics in that thread but I can’t sift through 100+ pages lol.
My earliest Stuart Turner catalog is from 1906.
I have an Avery Multipolar Dynamo that was offered in this catalog.
I will look for pictures of the Engines you call special Jensens. They are not actually Jensens and we're not produced as Jensens to sell. These are engines that Tom Sr built for himself.

Nice video of a vintage small American family business still
going strong.
The workshop is like a step back in time. I'm reasonably sure
that if someone ever goes through the whole shop, wall-to-wall,
stem-to-stern, all kinds of cool Jensen stuff will appear. Makes
me think of my father's garage but with more machining tools. Even
the 'books' they've kept could yield secrets. What was the first
sale, mail-order or over-the-counter, they made? That would be a
good start.
Grateful Jensen steamer,
Wayne

Here is a video I shot years ago. The one you have in the photo is an original plant made by Tom Sr. With a Stuart engine, many of his early stuff had Stuart Turner parts. #1 is there as well.

I had no idea Stuart was that old~!
Thanks for the video. Man, Tom Jensen made some great stuff, not just his main line stuff but his “side” stuff with extra attention to detail is incredible. Don’t understand why those engines aren’t shown much. Guess I have to go to Jeannette PA myself.
Funny enough, I Graduated H.S. From Niles, Ohio in 2009, not too far from there, had I known at the time, would’ve gone!

Was watching a Jensen factory tour and they shown some specially made JENSEN’s and I got a screenshot of one that is absolutely gorgeous.
Wondering if anyone has other photos of them, they are in glass cases at the factory.
Video would even be better, but I’m doubtful.
@SPS Bruce? Chime in?
