Some photos of gaining access to the pump, which come to find out was plugged up.
One reason it took me so long was I really had to look the mill over to make sure there wasn't another way to get to the pump itself. In the end, I used a hole saw, as you can see.

Jeez, what a well designed windmill that does four things...twirls, pumps water, turns water wheel and bangs a couple of small anvils. Wow...I have never seen such a piece and in perfect condition. Great buy.
