Hi Charlie,

Alas the model isn't mine, though I did do some work on the lubricator a few years ago. It belongs to a friend who bought it off a colleague about thirty years ago. It still had its original bill of purchase, come May it will be 75 years since it was bought. No, none of the burners are capped. The reason for its sedate performance is that the original purchaser paid Bassett Lowke an extra £1 to fit a regulator. This allows the Enterprise to run at full pressure, notice, in the video the safety valve is weeping all the time. The regulator looks remarkably like a Stuart Turner plug type drain cock. During the summer the model will run a good 40 minutes, but last Sunday it was quite windy and only about 5C so it managed only about 30 minutes.
