Great little engine Jan.
I love anything that involves miniture engineering and this engine certainly looks well made and goes fantastic.
BTW, I also purchase stuff of Jin and find him very good to deal with.
Please post up more videos.

Congratulations Jan.

You definitely need one of those Zippo fueling station.

Thanks guys  :)

Yes, i know of those Lenn...

Unfortunately they tend to sell for more than these engines, so found that adding one just to fuel this one was a bit of an overkill.
That said, should you (or anyone else) find one locally, set up for sale at a more reasonable price, i would definitely be interested.

Really nice engine Jan, Zippo made a gas pump refilling station but hard to find that would look great with one of those engines.

Good to see you stocked up on fuel Jan, how long does a tankful tend to last?

Only the small 125ml cans of Zippo fuel are available in the UK, i've never seen any of the big ones for sale over here.

Would be interesting to see if you could convert one of these engines to run off a butane/propane source.

I'm not to worried about the oil mixture, I just now started putting a few drops of marvel in the Zippo can.

Well, probably kicking myself by sharing this Roger, as there´s so many wrongs in it from en engineering point of view, but i´ve only been running it on pure Zippo fluid until now.

First off, to properly hone it/run it in, i wanted it running as abrasive as possible, to see if i could spot a difference, once it had a bit of time on the clock.
Until now the running characteristics has only been improving, and seing how it throws greasy stuff from the exhaust already, i´ve chosen to stay with pure Zippo fluid.
I might regret this decision some day, if i have to take it down for a rebuild due to my choice, but fortunately i know who to blame then.

Jan, I can see a Zippo shortage developing in Denmark shortly!!!

Great fun!

Just curious what Zippo/oil ratio you are using?  Everyone seems to have a favorite and they are all over the board.  I WAS using 5:1 Zippo to Marvel Mystery Oil.  Just cut back oil content, as it seemed a lot of oil was accumulating around the open piston end of cylinder.  Seems to run fine on 10:1 ratio of Zippo/Marvel Mystery Oil with less oil buildup which I assume is better for spark plug too.

Wish there was a bit of science behind these various mixtures !!!!

Nice engine, Jan. Nice daisies, too.

I've been contemplating buying one of these, but I'm suddenly in the midst of negotiations for another model, so it may have to wait.

Really glad a few of the long ordered hit miss engines are getting into the proper hands. Probably going to be some interesting adaptations over the next few months.

Since i took the leap, and clicked a BIN on April 11th., i have so been looking forward to the arrival of this one...

Happy to report yet another great succes, when dealing with Jin.
Fast shipment, bulletproof packaging, and a fantastic product !
(Shipping took just about 1½ week, if deducting the days spent, being kidnapped for ransom by the customs service, and my own workrelated absence from home)

Short movie from one of the several "test runs" allready performed here...can´t really get that grin of my face right now:
