and not to the engine top.

For the chimney....
I took a piece of roof flashing, rolled a bit into a tube
that fits the engine top, epoxied it and taped it to hold
till the epoxy hardens. Paint it as you see fit, mine is
black with a bit of gold paint at the top. It is 1 3/4"
tall, a length that seemed proportional with the engine.
I like the way it looks, even without a topper!

Good luck. Mine was a basket case but is a good runner after much work.
They were made for a looooong time and don't take up much space.

Picked up a # 3 the other day, missin a few things stack,weight,licker,pulley for n pto side, whistle top and was hoping that someone has some good pics of the whistle top and stack.Dangit i broke the flywheel spoke so made a new one course its not like the oem but it works.Bearings were a bit loose so there nice and tight now.Gotta make some new boiler gaskets.Heres a pic before and after.
