Just to clarify for those who may not know ....
Yes, April 19th , 1775
250 years ago, last evening, Paul Revere (and others) took the famous ride, After receiving the signal from the tower of the old North Church ... One if by land and two if by sea! As of today, the Brits were marching to Concord where there was a Colonial Supply Depot, to confiscate all the Colonist's guns and munitions. But along the way at Lexington, they ran into that village's militia paraded on the village green, whence "The Shot Heard Around the World" was fired to initiate the Revolutionary war!!!
I believe it was the Lexington Militia leader, Captain John Parker, who uttered the famous words, " Stand your ground and do not fire unless fired upon! But if they mean to have a war .... let it begin here!!!"

And so began the longest, greatest, most successful, and still running experiment
in human relations in the history of the world. A government of the people, for
the people and by the people. God bless the United States of America!
So, for a moment, let us keep current politics out of this.
Steam engines deserve a day,

This evening sort of starts it, but tomorrow, April 19th is the actual initiation of events of truly great significance!
But of course, only if you are into that sort of thing!?!?
Guess I am, as history is quite important to me.
250 and counting .......
