I like the chain on your hammer, beats the fishing line they come with!
The monofilament is a bit tackey . That chain is from a cheap necklace that my wife gave me . I have two of the drop hammers , and that necklace was just right to make two chains .

I like the fact that your lineshaft base provides the correct spacing between the engine and the accessory. By varying the base/accessory dimension on other powered devices you wouldn't need any type of holdowns on them either. Well done.
I just got lucky in that I have an assortment of different belts , with a couple that happen to be the right length !

I got those off of Ebay . I think they are maybe Erector pulleys .
