Title: New Batch of Scams and Scammers using Microsoft Address
Post by: RedRyder on May 07, 2025, 02:32:10 pm
Always check what address an e-mail came from. It can be very telling.

If you see this address which I have seen no less than 6 times today...

<no-reply@delivery.smtp.microsoft.com>

Today, I received these from 6 different outfits all claiming I need to act with some sort of urgency and none of these have/had anything to do with Microsoft.

A search of the email address reveals it is an address that Microsoft might use to announce certain updates but all other random outfits should be ignored. These come from companies most everyone deals with like Paypal, Ebay, SiriusXM, your bank, etc.

Stay Safe!
