Thank you @Stoker - I doubt I could ever top my Empire collection.  But boy, it would be sooo cool to have one of every Weeden - talk about hard core (and luck).

Wayne, a No. 648 - I kind of want one of those.... lol

That's a nice-n-clean display.  Weeden engines are nice and affordable
and I'm sure all steamers have been bitten by that bug.  It won't be long
before your display engines will overflow onto other horizontal surfaces.

Fortunately, I'm married to a gem.  Just to the right of the TV I have
seven engines and another three under the dining table.  Not very neat
but not a hoarding situation.  Yet.

Happy Steamer (#648 this morn),
Wayne

That's a very nice collection you have under and beside the TV there Richard!

Very pleasing to the eye and satisfying to the soul, no doubt.

I do believe that you are going to have a really hard time trying to top the collection that you have back in Texas however, as that is quite simply Real Class!!!

Almost a year ago I had to move from Texas to Atlanta, Ga for my position at Warner Brothers - Discovery.  I had worked for them about year before, hired working from home/remotely, then it was announced to me that "you need to report to Atlanta".  Totally sucked but you got to do what you got to do.  Now that doesn't mean I sold my Texas home, which I've had since 2000.  My 21 year old daughter is keeps it up, along with all my "stuff".

So when I got to Atlanta, if it didn't fit in my Mazda CX-90, it did come.  Then I bought stuff from Ikea / Target / Goodwill to furnish my little Midtown apartment.  It didn't take to long until I missed my steam engines, so I decided to dive into Weedens.  They are fairly cheap, though you can get burned on them too, no pun intended.

My Weeden collection isn't nearly as nice as my Empire collection but I just can't bring myself to split up the collection that I have in Texas.  I think the Weeden's I have are pretty nice examples, though there are quite a few I'd love to  get my hands on.

It's nice to have the little collection under my TV - gives me something to look at when the TV is off.  Often when there isn't anything to watch, so I just look at the Weedens - LOL
