A mother walks her young son to school everyday, a couple houses down a Doberman puppy always barks at them, farther along a German Shepard pup will growl at them, as they continue to the end of the block three Poodles will start yapping. The father is worried that this could affect his son in a way that he would not want to go to school so he decides to walk his son to school.
As they walk down the street all the dogs are silent, his wife asks, "How did you do it?".

"Simple," he replies, " I wore my Hush Puppies".
