No Charlie, I most certainly did NOT make it myself. Bought it online fairly cheaply.

The one shown at the very start (still frame) of the video is almost just like mine, but the one off to the right later in the video with a swirling effect is rather different, but even more COOL than the simpler one that I have.

I'll see if I can find where I bought mine from and perhaps post the link for you, but it wasn't evilbay, though I'd be surprised if you cannot find them there too.

For simple fascination and mind relaxion, while a gentle breeze is blowing, it does seem tough to beat!

Anyone else here have one of these Whirligig/Windmill/Kinetic-Garden-Art/Dumaflotchie/Thingamajig/ sort of things?

I have to say that watching this move slowly through its cycle is almost a gut level emotional experience, especially when viewed face on, or nearly so!
