Jim the Hurricane Lamps look great in the room. Here is a photo of my grandfather's old blow touch.

I have a couple of RR lamps that I've occasionally thought of doing such a conversion with, but I keep thinking that they could be very useful as kerosene lamps in extended power outages, which we seem to be having with ever increasing frequency anymore, and we do have a quantity of kerosene on hand as that is our backup heating source, so have a 275 gallon tank out in the yard.
In any case, those lamps you have modified are just brilliant Jim ..... perfect for the incredible "depth" of your Man Cave ..... er, I mean Steam Room!!!

good looking lamps Jim, well done!.

They look great, Jim. I have some converted railroad lamps in my layout room and in my upstairs office.
Thanks Jim, if you ever get a chance to take a photo of them, I'd love to see them.
