by the copyright date it appears to have been shot in 1966, also the more modern tractor supplying water & coal, & the dozer in the background. this would have been a labor intensive & very costly operation back in the day.
can anyone tell me how they jog the plow over for the next cut?

That is totally astonishing, but I can't quite figure why they would want to plow soooooo deep?
All I can figure is that they are harvesting Peat, then perhaps it would make some sense!
Does look like they are burning Peat bricks in the engines, so maybe that is what is up here!?!?
BTW ... really like the accompanying music!!!
