Title: Re: Vinegar -- how strong?

When loosening or derusting parts, its been suggested to use vinegar.  Do I want to use ordinary household/cooking vinegar, which is 5% acidic, or industrial vinegar which runs from 50% to 75% acidic?

Paul

I've soaked rusty tools in normal vinegar for 24 hours and then scrubbed all the rust off with stainless steel wool with success.
