Gil,

If the Lord had a Steam Room, it'd look like yours!  Absolutely amazing, beautiful engines.

Yes I tried it out several times on my stove when I 1st purchased it since then though it's been collecting dust I originally bought it because I'm into steam engines hot air engines and in the last few years the miniature hit and miss engines I also collect the real size hit and miss engines when I can find them for around $300 or less I've been fortunate in the last year I've bought several in the 100-200 dollar range.
I wish I had pulled the trigger when they were still making them.

And... here I am 20 years later and I finally got one!

Here's another....

Very short video of...

A Free Breeze Stirling Cycle Stove Top Fan...

These were made in Canada in the first decade of the new millennium.
I don't think they have been manufactured for at least 10 years.
Original cost was around $209 USD and $299 Canadian.

This fan is very quiet.
Our kitchen is noisy this time of day.

Here are 2 more nice Stirling Cycle Engines.

One is a Bremen Noiseless Hot Air Pumping Engine.

The other is a machinist's free lance built of a Robinsons Patent Stirling Cycle Engine.

Enjoy,

Gil

That one wreck of a Solar 1 Engine of Phoenix Arizona, which is missing its proper base and is seriously filthy, does have one somewhat interesting feature. The pulley mounted between the flywheels is of a size and form I have never seen before. Likely home-made or aftermarket of some kind, but if original, that would be very interesting.

Another faint possibility is that it could actually be the remains of a Davies-Charlton Stirling from the Isle of Man UK, but it would take some careful measurements to make that determination.

The real treasure in this box lot was these parts that make up a

very nice looking Stirling Cycle Engine.

The burner has the following stamped on the bottom.

Manning Bowman & Co
Pat. Nov. 8, 1904

I don't know who made the engine.

Enjoy,

Gil

I also got 2 box lots.

One had a bunch of Live Steam Magazine issues.

The other was a real treat.

For the princely sum of $40 I bought a box with a small old Phoenix Solar engine in rough shape.

There was a real nice heavy (23 lbs.)  3 piece cast iron base for a future project.

It also had these parts to make up a nice Stirling Cycle Engine which I will finish assembling as time allows.

See pictures below.

Yee Gads Gil ....... what a wonderful batch of new toys to play with!

That last beauty seems to be sort of "Royal Rider" Stirling Cycle Engine.
Yes..... That last one could be Royal Rider or Royal Ericsson

(although it is not a pumping engine)
