Without question this is the most beautiful steam engine Jensen ever produced.
If I could only have one. It would be this one.
Awesomeness.
In the future if you decide to pass it along let me know. I would be interested.
I am and have been passing along alot of my collection this last year. Paying for weddings and such along with preparation to do some traveling with my wife in a couple years when we retire.. but as far as Jensen's go this is the one you keep.
A magnificent steam engine.
Congratulations Mike.

what a transformation, its beautiful again! ;)

That one has certainly been brought back from the brink of oblivion!
Seems it was a very near run thing .... but it is back to its former glory now and in the hands of one who will not let it slip back to deprivation!!!
-
Dang! You’ve got that one looking great again!! 8)
-
Here’s what it looked like when found.

Here’s some photos of it after a thorough cleaning and polishing. The previous owner used a Scotchbrite pad on some of the nickel. 😞
Fortunately, I was able to polish the scratches out. It is absolutely amazing that this engine looks as good as it does because it was seriously ugly when the previous owner acquired it.

What an incredible score!
Nice work Mike and Well Done!!!
Thanks, Daniel! I have to admit that I didn’t do all the work myself. It was spotted by another forum member first who passed it on to me.
You need to get people like that out of your life… what a shame… knowing you have a problem and feeding your addiction like that…
I think it’s a good addiction. Unfortunately, it’s always starving! 🤣🤣
Surely do wish someone would feed my addiction like that!
Oh wait, some kindly folks (pushers?) have done just exactly that for me (you know who you are), so thanks to all who have!!!

Anyone here fortunate enough to aquired the Jensen #50 with the riveted boiler?
Sold couple of days ago and picked up in Ohio today?
Hope so. Love to see the pics if you got this beautiful engine.
