An old video of my P Duclos flame gulper
Iv built loads of these wee engines and currently going through them to clean them and get rid of some wear n tear
This one is nearly 30 years old and has ran for many hours at shows over the years. It was my first build and still my favourite engine
The video was done to help another builder out so forgive its rough edges It is also on the clean up list
cheers

That's certainly a great and varied collection Doug - never realized there were so many different ones out there. The only one I have is a PMR #3 which I love when it runs correctly but is a pain when it doesn't want to cooperate - a little tricky at times and I fully understand building one and then not being able to get it to run.
-
Nice collection Doug, alas i no longer have a flamelicker in my collection.
-
Here’s a couple photos of my Arlan C. Climes flame licker.
Did you build that? If so, and it runs, I'm envious.

Yep,your right Doug the old untested or runs on air warrants caution.

Noe here... yet... but very nice guys, keep them coming! 8)

I feel for you!. The only flamelicker i built is one i cannot get to run.

Ah, but at least mine looks good on a shelf!

My no running flame lickers is becoming a water pump...

I made this one: "Poppin'" by Dr. Senft.
Just can't get it to run....

I feel for you!. The only flamelicker i built is one i cannot get to run. I have 3 others that i have never been able to get working. I quit buying flamelickers on ebay unless the seller provides a video of it running! There is a rare Caloric flamelicker on ebay currently, but i am not willing to spend good money on another "untested" flamelicker! Untested on ebay usually means they tried to run it and it doesn't run.

A real boon getting that mold with your engine, as that going south usually is what "kills" them...
Runs great Doug, thanks for sharing !

The Rebi vertical does run and included with the purchase of this engine was a mold for making a new replacement bellows. I have used the mold once to make a bellows for a friend and am told it worked well!

Amazing collection Doug, well done and thanks for sharing !
Guess there´s several in that category, but if the upright Rebi "bellows" engine is functional, you certainly have a rarity in that alone.
As i don´t collect flame lickers per se, i only have the Solar 3 already shown...and the much smaller Solar Engines "Mini Vac" flame eater.

Wow Doug ... very impressive!
I can't add anything to that great display, but I do have one of those already shown, the Solar III, in two versions.

I have quite a few flame licker engines. I know others collect them. as well. Please add any photos of any you might have that are different than these!
