Title: Re: MicroCosm M11 Boiler Feed Pump - electrically powered - first 'wet' trial

Here are some pictures of mine . When I am running my boiler and engines, I operate the pump full time , and it keeps the water level just about perfect . As you can see , I have it in series with the hand pump , which can be used simultaneously with the electric pump if more water is needed .

Sounds like a brilliant plan, can't wait to hear the results!
Title: MicroCosm M11 Boiler Feed Pump - electrically powered - first 'wet' trial

Good afternoon from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn

I ran the first test of the MicroCosm electrically powered boiler feed pump.
It all worked, running off a slot-car transformer.  Slow but steady, about one
fluid ounce in 5 minutes.  Seems to have 'pressure' but a real test into a
steamed up boiler is next.  Probably an Empire B43 boiler with the boiler feed
routed thru the whistle bushing....unless anyone has a reason not to do that.

Ultimately, I want to route it into the SE-03 boiler which, in my opinion, is
lovable but a bit small.  For the next model, please, a bigger boiler, feed pump,
and blow-down (drain) valve!

Having fun,
Waiting on the Daytona 500..
