I've been informed by Henry that -
"That carb is a scale model of a vintage design. I can't remember the manufacturer offhand, but they are seen on many antique engines in the US. The tiny spring underneath is an automatic choke valve that helps guarantee the engine draws fuel on intake strokes. Quite a delicate accomplishment to replicate at this size".

Looks like another real beauty you've got yourself there Jim!!!
I'm still wishing that I'd managed to score myself one of the H73 two-cylinder Holt engines from way back a couple of years ago. Certainly, can't keep up with all these super nice high-end engines that are being made now!
