Title: M11 Boiler Feed Pump (electric) works under pressure...finally
Post by: komet163b on February 21, 2026, 04:25:01 pm
Well, it works now...after changing the motor/geareset from 6V/70rpm
to 12V 500rpm.

To start the flow you need to run it fast and then, when you see water
flowing into the boiler, slow it down enough to just keep the water
flowing in, I'd guess 100 pulses/minute with no backflow from the boiler.
Sweet!

I've added a video of it working.  A little disjointed, but if you know
my videos it is not too bad.  Long description.

What I want now is a way to hook the pump up to my still to be built SE-03.
Also, a blow-down valve would be nice.  Small would be best.

Finally, who actually designs and produces the SE-03 and the boiler feed pump?
Not the seller.  The brain(s) behind the design/production.  I have several ideas
to run their way.
