This is a treasure trove of steam engines and related items.
What a fun shop to find!
The little electric motor for $40. is decently priced.
The rest, not so much.
Hard to imagine the proprietor being a stiff over photographs.
If it were my store,
I would say:
Take all the pictures you want and show your friends.

The amount of stuff this guy had crammed into this place was just incredible. Now and again when we go into a store like this you might find the odd steam engine, but this was a different story. If you were a train nut, you would have been ecstatic the amount of stuff he had.

Couldn't believe how many steam engines they had, there was a heap more and the ones I couldn't get photos of were near the owner at the counter who got really miffed at me taking photos.
Just tell him that you are taking photos to show friends that might be interested. Can't imagine a shop owner who wouldn't go for free advertising of his wares!
Daniel, I said "I'm taking photos for a friend who is a steam nut" which was true because I was going to share the pics here.
His response was "Let him come and look for himself".

Not surprised by the shop prices, but definitely surprised by what and how much you found!
-
Wow, those prices. But there was a decent supply.

Jenny and I went for a drive out West last Thursday and found an Alladins Cave antique store, three stories of rooms just packed with ..... well you name it they had it.
Hours of browsing, but no buying as the prices (like all antique shops) were very high. The amount of train memorabilia they had was incredible!
