Beautiful .... a work of high ART!!!

I have completed some more parts for this engine. The cylinder head, valve cages, valves, valve springs, keepers, and valve covers are all done. Got to love those fins! I took special care to make sure that the valve cover fins lined up with the cylinder head fins. things are coming along, although it is fishing season!

Looking good, following with interest!

An impressive bit of work you have accomplished so far. Seems most of the hardest work that requires the greatest precision may be behind you, but details remain! That it all moves so freely, and coasts so well, speaks volumes about the precision you have achieved thus far!

Here is the engine with more parts completed. It's coming along nicely, but there may be some delays because of fishing season!
It's nice to have some parts that move now!

I have started another engine build.
This is the Phillip Duclos Gearless Hit and Miss Engine.
I have been reading these plans for over 25 years - now retirement is allowing me to build it!
So far I have completed the base, the uprights, the columns, and I'm working on the cylinder.
It's coming out really nice so far!
