Hi Jim,
it looks great on a the much better size wood plinth!
Gil
I have the original plinths stored away Gil, they were massive! and took up too much room.
I’ve got a pair of Deluxes here and have engines displayed on top of them 😂
The bases are HUGE aren't they Nick!!

I remember when you 1st got this Jim, always a pleasure to revisit a rare beauty.
It was exciting waiting for this package to arrive all that time ago, Gil took them both apart and packed them so exquisitely well in one large box, I think his comment was along the lines of "Jim they could be kicked all the way down to Australia and they won't be damaged".

When you mentioned the serial number I went to see what mine was but I had forgotten that the identification plate was missing when I bought it, otherwise it is in as-new condition. It's shame as it would have been interesting. They are a great engine for sure.
They are Larry, I also bought a deluxe #55 from Gil at the same time.

Having a beautiful engine like that and not running it for years at a time is a bit like having a beautiful Lady in your life and not making love to her for years at a time ..... what's wrong with guys like us anyway?!?! ;c)
LOL I suppose having a harem of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds, and at our age..........well it slows us down a mite!!!!
;D ;D ;D

This is a special edition Jensen Deluxe 20G Big Power Plant Serial Number 01-97 made on December 10th 1997.
Bought this from Gil around 11 years ago, haven't run it for a couple of years.
