A work in progress.
I will be adding some patina back in to the brass plates.
They needed a complete cleaning due to nasty blotchy tarnish that needed to go.

That looks very nice after the clean up!

I have begun the clean-up of the steam plant.
Starting with the engines, then I will tackle the hand pump and brass on the base.
Lastly, the boiler.

A lot of hours of fun to be had with that haul Gil.

Looks like that Stuart assemblage got plenty of run time back in the day, and I do like that antique drill press, but do be careful with your fingers when pulling on that handle!!!

At Coolspring I picked up a nice smallish precision drill press.
At Orange i snagged a steam plant with 3 Stuart pieces and a heavily constructed old boiler which of course will get a thorough inspection and hydro test.
