Don't know about the beam engine but the Chiltern kits are great in general.  Everything goes together well and, to my mind, are similar to the old Cotswold Heritage kits.

Both the Chiltern beam engines look nice, I don't remember anyone saying that they have bought one.

They look nice running on some of the YouTube videos I've seen.
