Boy, I think that will be a tough one to provide any valid input. While there are a few "kit" manufacturers out there, mostly in China now I suppose, but I think few of them are going to be able to provide kits at a price point that a small local retail shop will be able to import, mark-up to a profitable level and still manage to sell in enough volume to make it work.

Stirling Kit, Rocking Whale and the like might be worth looking into, but it will be a tough row to hoe!

Jensen still offers the model #76 as a kit, I believe, but again the price point would make it hard to profit from a retail re-sale!?!?

Please add to my list of engine manufacturers and kits.
A local childrens toy shop has been stocking more 'kit'
type toys that trend more to grown-ups taste.  I spoke
about this trend to the young lady who does the ordering
and she does admit that the expensive purchases are not
always for children.  She is very interested in what is
out there.  I intend stopping by with several kits, built
and unbuilt, and some pre-built engines, hot-air and steam.
I'm hoping she will be interested enough to give some a try,
at least the less expensive ones.

I could offer to give demonstrations to raise interest.  Hmmmm.
Steam engines in Brooklyn!  Yes!

So...please add some names to this list.
