Fantastic Bruce!
I have some old home movies of me peddling mine around.
-
I used to tow mine in my wagon behind my bicycle like I was taking it to the race track, lol. Thanks for reminding of that Bruce.

Thanks for posting the videos Bruce.
Kinda makes the steam hobby look cheap! :)
How much was that tall Buddy L Crane in the first video (outside). Looked like it had an electric motor.

Charlie the crane which was a rock separator of some sort was $600 and had a brand new box of chutes to the right of it, it did have electric motor at the base which looked like a separate engine power plant.

Perhaps I should dig out my old Tonka Toy fire truck, and definitely my Marvelous Mike, which I suspect is rather rare. Who knows, another hundred years and they may be worth the big bucks as well ........ or not!
Had a large toy logging truck that I suspect was Buddy L, though not really sure. Also had a nice large metal, nearly scale MGTD, but my brother's kids pretty well took care of those cool toys, and I don't mean took good care of them.

Nice videos of the peddle cars and I the prices are more than
I thought they would be.

I had me a peddle car way back in the early 50's, and can still recall the feeling of elation and pride at being able to sit in it and make it go where I wanted. But that all went by the wayside, once I could sit a bike and really cover some ground!
Wonder what mine would have been worth were it still around today?!?!

Way back in the pre I-Pad days, kids just had the coolest toys...
