I believe Matt Mumby (smithandcomodels on the Mamod Forum) created the printing press.  Matt had a website for a short time.  I clicked on it today and it is gone.  He last posted on the Mamod Forum on December 5, 2018.

I managed to get a WEJCO Workshop also ... first class quality and eye-catching design!

WEJCO = Wm. E. Jones if I remember Airspyder's real name correctly.

Don't recall who was going to do the printing press, but from what I've seen of the real deal, you could run that as fast as you could, like many of our steam engines are prone to do, and it would still look correct. The real ones I've seen run so fast that it is all just a blur!

Looks like it didn't actually print ...but had a pre printed roll of paper that fed across the rollers , but looked dang good doing it .👍

As far as i understand from the Mamod forum thread, he just made the 3 "prototypes".
Then subsequently sold them off to fund the construction of 8-10 more, which to my knowledge never came to happen.

I remember communicating with Bill about the bandsaw he was making to go along with the workshop - although I was to get one he never got back to me again so don't know if he made a batch or if life got in the way. Hope he returns to the forum and continues making machines - they were especially nice and well made.
