Sure looks good from here ... I've always reckoned the SR as one of Mamod's very best mobile engines!

This was a cheap eBay score. There was no sign that it had been fired (boiler, Esbit tray and scuttle are spotless), but it has some wear and tear, so I'm guessing that it was used as a push toy. It ran great during test steam-ups with the well-engineered Bix burner set.  I'll try running/rolling on the local basketball court later.  8)
