Remember..... Shameless self-promotion is allowed here so if you have a couple more pictures or a video of your engine feel free to post them
The poll will run for 20 days from the time it was published so may end at an off time on July 31. (like after 9 pm eastern)
I am still thinking about what to do as to if I should show all the entries not drawn.

Gee....they are ALL mouthwatering examples of top shelf steam engines.
-
Lovely selection, is it OK to point out that it should be Mersey and not Mercy?
Cheers Sandy.
-
What a wonderful 1st ever EOTM collection , some very nice photography & background scenes , this is going to be a difficult choice that will require more time thinking on my part.
-
Some great entries for the inaugural OOSF EOTM!
Thanks for making this happen Gil!
-
Yes, a great start for EOM. Very enjoyable to watch the drawings. Well done.
-
I had to go for the clever beer and cheese photo.
-
Lovely selection, is it OK to point out that it should be Mersey and not Mercy?
Cheers Sandy.
Always OK and now fixed.
-
There all winners. Decisions, Decisions.
-
Glad I have a month to decide. So many fine entries, I will need to study in fine detail to make a choice.
-
Each one a worthy winner. Cheddar plant just did it for me.
Particularly nice to see the thought / care that has gone into the composition of the picture.
Well done each of you.

A bed and breakfast with a steam theme!
-
Every one is a winner in my book - going to be a really hard decision.
-
It was a tough choice and whilst i really like the nickel plated twin beam with boiler, the Cheddar Westbury won me over since it is a superb photo. I'll try and put an entry in for next months poll depending on the category.
-
I think we will go general again (open theme) for our second EOTM contest.

I think we will go general again (open theme) for our second EOTM contest.
Pleased to hear that Gil!, now to decide which engine to submit for that!
-
25 votes already! ;D ;D
Keep them coming ;)
-
If you're looking for more votes to be placed in this poll Nick, I'd be glad to vote again, .............. maybe even several times ... ;c)

-
10 days to go ;)
27 votes already! And a close race between 2 of them
-
Yes its getting to be a closer finish.
-
WOW gives me cold chills there so nice
-
Well first time I looked at this thread .
As nice as they all are 1 in particular jumped out at me and said pick me
It appears to be a popular choice .
Cheers

Looks like my favorite is pulling out into a comfortable lead ... just as it should based on the quality of the photo and the engine itself!
-
39 Votes!! ;D Well Done owner of the Carette (pretty sure I know who it is ;) )
-
CONGRATS, Dan...!!!
-
Thanks all :) surprised I won over all the fantastic other entry’s :)
-
Congratulations Dan .... I'm very glad to see the majority of the voters have the same taste and eye as mine. Certainly a stunning photograph of a beautiful engine!
Well Done!!!
-
Wonderful engine Dan - congratulations on winning the first EOTM.
-
Congratulations Dan!
-
Another congratulations Dan, the official 1st ever winner of the "engine of tthe month contest" 😉👍
-
Strange outcome, my vote went to the Carette and this due that these type of engines are my field of intrest and the rarity of it.
But I suspected the double beam nickeled engine, which is a technical masterpiece and would be my second choice, to be in a neck to neck with the Carette and that both would stick far above the rest.
But here you see hw strange these votes can go.
-
Danny, I'll have to agree with you on most counts, which is to say that if it were only HIGH END collectors with deep experience doing the voting, I'm sure it would have gone just as you said. But my feeling is that the Double Beam Engine was just TOO MUCH for most of the more typical AVERAGE collectors on this Forum to properly appreciate !
