My son said my Märklin homemade compound wasn't powerful enough. So I said which engine should we try next, he picked the D22. =)

As well as having power, that D22 sure idles down nice at the end  8)

Really nice video, Chris!

Great to see your son enjoying your steam engines and accessories collection and operation.

Thank you for the kind words.

Accessories really open up the possibilities! The Wilesco ones are especially good to modify to improve capabilities.

Special thanks to Nick for the tip on ebelting.com, really upped the performance of the workshop. I may try to make tires from it.

The #25 chain is very stout.

Chris, I liked the video and the machine shop with the overhead Line Shafts.

The machine shop is very usable for anyone 1/12 the height of a normal person. :) I still have 1 more open spot. I think I may mount my Austrian dynamo and light there. Every shop needs a light and a small bench.
