Title: Vintage Briggs and Stratton. 1930 model FH & 1937 model WM
Post by: Steamandoil (Tim) on March 13, 2020, 11:18:00 pm
These two outstanding B&S engines were restored beyond new condition by a collector in Oklahoma. When I found he was selling his collection of about 50 engines I grabbed 2 of his best. Every engine he has restored to this level. They included Maytags, Briggs, and I think a couple of Clintons. All kept in his home office.

Briggs and Stratton have an army of vintage collectors that are as dedicated as any. Quite a few oldies are still around but millions of serviceable great old cast iron engines have vanished over the decades. Both of these engines are fairly rare but the old FH is in high demand. Both start and run as good as any alive today.

Thanks for watching!!

Tim you have  great eye for the best/cleanest engines  8)

Glad we have members like you to share these videos as I'm doing my best to keep myself from adding engines like this to the collection... it's not easy!!  :D

Nice Bob! I plan to run a fan-actually a squirrel cage blower when I get it painted and mounted on a cart. Yours is a beaut.
