Hi Nick,

I have a wife, there is no shelf space  ;D

I do see their is a sad looking Stuart Victoria steam plant for sale, the engine looks like a disaster zone but i couldn't buy the unmachined kit and boiler for that price so seriously considering it for a project.

My wife will give me more than a 'nudge' when she finds i spent a small fortune on 'another engine thing' but i bought it anyway... i will be screaming "that Nick made me do it" as i dodge the frying pan  ::) ;D  Should make a good project i guess  :)

Not so sure about that Nick, i can see lots of issues from the photos so there is bound to be more hiding in there.  I looked at the prices of unmachined spares from Stuart and they seem quite cheap so hopefully i can fix her up nicely.

I guess there is a good chance this plant was owned by a member of this forum so i better not do a rebuild thread for fear of offending the builder  :-X

Still thanks for the encouragement  :D
