Had to take my 3 year old in for the drive-up testing as he was sick and hasn't had much of an appetite the past few days... He did really well and I had to hold him down for what seemed like a very long 5 seconds. They would not let any of us test because we weren't showing any symptoms.

1st off...is the !title guy Ok ? & no , I havn't been tested.
-
He has been feeling a lot better now, but we won't have results for 24-72 hrs... All he wanted to do after the test was go look at tractors :) He has been around my parents and grandpa a lot, so we wanted to get the results. We were all very sick back in December, worst I can ever remember, but that's supposedly before it was here. If he does test positive then they said we can get tested.
-
Test results came back this morning as negative, but they said we are not in the clear until 3 days of no symptoms.

Holding the good thought for your family there Nick!

Best of luck, stay safe.

My daughter was tested on July 2nd and still does not have the results.
She was moving from our house in Texas to Fort Collins, CO. On the trip she got a sore throat.
She thought she had tonsillitis or strep throat.
She is fine now and still doesn't have the results.
When she got tested, we went back into quarantine and I haven't left the house since then. Very frustrating!
No one here has any symptoms.
I did have to cancel my annual physical because I couldn't get into the Drs office due to a family member having pending test results.
I hope your son tests negative Nick. Since you were sick in December, it might be worth getting tested for the antibodies. Don't forget that the normal Flu has been particularly bad this year (something the press doesn't talk about at all) and has probably been the worse in 10 years.

Well probably because preventative measures are the same, and COVID 2019 is much worse.

The wife was sick a couple of months ago and in and out of the hospital twice in a two week period. She was given the Covid test and was negative. They were able to treat her for some other things and she is home and ok. I did lose an aunt to Covid. She was 93 and in a nursing home with poor health in the Minneapolis area, so she had every thing working against her. A good friend had two of his grandchildren in the Rosemount, Mn area test positive, but being young they recovered with no problem.

Glad your boy tested negative, with hopefully no exposure to your grandparents.
I haven't been tested, and haven't been sick( just disgusted).
Methinks there is something a bit nefarious to the whole situation. But, I'm just a dumb-assed old small-minded redneck from down here in the south.

This Wuhan New Deal Virus is testing me to my limits.
So far 1 dead close relative , one dead friend, one dead former employee, and one neighbor and family who survived with moderate fevers.
My wife and I got drive-thru test , both negative. Oldest daughter works with disabled veterans, she’s been tested 3 times so far, all negatives. Local media reporting today a post-riot “spike” in viral cases with people in their 20’s leading the trend. And the viral cultural revolution has just begun , this upcoming flu season and impending winter is not looking peachy. Getting harder to take evasive action.

First off, I'm sorry for the loss of your family and friends. I hope you all are blessed with continued healh.

So many thanks to your daughter for doing what she is. God bless her for taking care of our veterans and, to me, our heroes.

Evasive action -I am lucky enough not to live in a congested area, even though I am very close to downtown Birmingham. But, the proximity is still a concern...I couldn't imagine living in Philly, or any of the other hotly contested zones. The hospitals, even though there is a reported spike, still seem to be far under capacity here. I don't know anyone who has gotten the Rona. And, strangely, only have seen one local recovery on the news. If so many people are sick, and this is so bad, why am I not seeing patients every day on the news, being paraded out as the first few were? The newly reported cases are all young(20s-30s) and many are college kids that were having Rona parties, with known infected students mingling with everybody- or, of course, the protesto-rioters.

Stay safe all, this crap is blowing up again down here.
