What a beauty Nick, you and the boys are going to have fun with this one.
-
Kids were already climbing up on it

And my Grandpa spotted it right away on his way through town, so he stopped to check it out

That's a bit different I sure like it but it will certainly make a mess of the drive with those wheels.

Keeps the weeds out of the driveway ;) :D

Great looking patina on this one, especially with the steel wheels, very steampunk, victorian sci-fi. I hand cranked an F-20 many times when I was 12 years old, luckily never got kicked back. My Dad had one fitted with a lift boom at his construction equipment business, we used it a lot.

A nice looking survivor.

I was lucky enough to have had my grandpa’s cousin who grew up with these tractors and had a shop fixing them since the 50’s teach me how to time the mag, so haven’t had to worry about them kicking back, but I am still careful. Unfortunately, we lost him about a year and a half ago, he passed on his stool in his shop, died doing what he loved, still working every day at the age of 90. This one is a very good starter, 1/4 turn, barely rolling over.
As for patina, it’s a rusty old tractor ;) You may notice the radiator has remnants of a “rebuild” sticker and rust that doesn’t match, but that is how my friend bought it. He also added the fenders recently, they may be from an F30, but either way they are hard to find... I think he said they were on Craigslist for only 14 minutes when he called the seller about them.
I have never seen another F20 around here with these 6” lugs, and a few guys tried to tell him they were welded-up, but we found them in an original parts book. Maybe they are common somewhere else in the country...
I have always wanted one rusty old tractor with no paint left, but this one has some neat remnants of original decals, along with the moss

Neat old tractor Nick.

Here is a photo of my Dad's F20 boom tractor. We used it to its limit lifting dozer tracks.

Great Photo! Has round spoke rims like my ‘36 F20 which seem to be popular with the collectors right now.
I would love to get a loader for one of mine, but I don’t know where I’d store such a contraption! :D

A nice addition to your vintage tractor collection Nick.
I just love the patina.
Does it run?
How many tractors do you have now?

I stopped counting after I ran out of fingers with this one
Here’s my friend on it at a local plow day from 1:05 to 1:38

Obviously it does still run, and certainly didn't seem to have any trouble at all in turning that soil !
