My neighbor has family coming to visit and decided to clean up some overgrown outbuildings. The property was her father's, and she knew he liked old things, but she wasn't quite prepares for what she found...
-
Give us a clue Benny.

Pics to follow I I can get it to upload ...

No joy. Same response as every time I've tried to upload anything here. Just a frozen screen. I don't use a computer for this, I can reply text fine but no vids or pics. Don't have 3 hours to upload one 5 minute video, so I give up. I'll try to post them somewhere. Sorry for he tease, but just can't wast time sitting uploading pics for hours

A few nice old gas tractors...2 farmall, 2 JD, a nice old restoration Fordson[attachimg=3][attachimg=4] >:(, and an old crawler[attachimg=2]
-
The fordson...appeared to have an earlier restoration, it had orange paint in the engine bay where the grey was flaking. [attachimg=2]
-
The other Farmall wasn't in such great condition...maybe i can afford this one ::)
-
There was also a nice small crawler. I'm guessing many of these were used in the local coal mines
-
Also found this german 4 cyl turbo diesel, with a heavy 32" flywheel attached...bolted to a trailer. My old lady said he used to run a sawmill with it. I also found the blade, and one of the carriages.

Lastly for tonight...
Imagine. It is winter, and a nice balmy 30 degrees out. You are laying in your bed after a lovely meal of beans and cornbread when nature calls. Indoor plumbing being unobtainable...out you go to this:

To cop a squat on this cold, cast iron torture chair. Proudly made in Alabama

Glad you got these posted, love that F20 and Fordson
Would also love those steel wheels to be on my F20

Don't know that I've ever seen a cast iron toilet seat, probably not common around here with the cold winters :D
My great-grandpa's outhouse was a 2-seater :D
-
Yeah Nick, I'm sure being frozen to the toilet seat would have kept anyone from using one of these in your area. More sweat than cold here for the most part

So, have you come across anything in there that you can't live without?

There was a pile of steel wheels leaning against a tree. She wants to sell some of it, and I'd bet those wheels are something shed sell. If you feel like driving down here to redneck territory
-
If I had my druthers, it would all be in my shop already. We will have to see what she is asking...she's unsure of value. I offered to help. So if you know some rough values feel free to post them. There aren't many big tractor collectors in this area...

Too far to haul them and still common to find around here, just hope they don't end up in a scrapyard :-\

Love the crawler! Do you know the make?
-
Perhaps a live auction is simplest.

Looks vaguely familiar (it's been about 70 years ago) but our two seater had wood seats.........and a bag of lime with a Planters Peanut can that had a handle soldered on. Ah. the good old days!

My grandparents had one of those houses at there lake cabin. As a kid wasn’t my favorite especially with a the ground hog living under it and my cousin telling me it would bite when I sat down. Good times.

What a treasure trove Benny!
Thanks for posting the pictures.
