Introduction

Hi fellow steam enthusiast's
Since I seem to be immersed in Wilesco's right now , I thought I would represent a few of they're offerings. I'll start at the low end of the #'s. Since I was under time constraints, most of these videos are not new.

Best steam cane out there! 8)
-
Love the D2, they´re lovely little engines...
That steam-stick was certainly one of the more "classy" builds seen from SPS, and a great starter entry for your table here :)
-
Ah, here you are now Bruce.
Very nice start to what I'm sure will be a fully amazing table.
This first engine definitely shows you to be a distinguished Gentleman of the "First Steam", with immaculate mechanical taste, cultivation and a skill set to be envied by all !!!
-
Wow! That is very classy!

Thank you folks. Here's a #3 Wilesco.

Geezo Bruce ..... you're getting way out ahead of me here .... I can't keep up with watching all your material and posting on it too!
I really do think that little D3 would take right off the table at max wattage, if you were to mount a prop on its shaft!!! ;c)
-
Very nice Bruce. Great showing of Wilesco! I especially like the pump jack. I did get a little twinge you showed the unfired condition of the D141. I just fired mine for the first time this afternoon.
-
The World of Wilesco.....BUT.....new and IMPROVED!
Some great enhancements to all of these Bruce.
But, the Steam Cane is just awesome. It definitely will go with your Steam Punk outfit.

Thanks Daniel , it is my passion to improve....well, Everything ! It is most difficult for me to leave things alone. I restrain myself with the more rare steam plants out there , but run of the mill ordinary engines are probably gonna get something done to them. I absolutely love bringing a battered ,abused or neglected engines back to as nice of running & looking condition as possible.

Maaaaaate!
What a wonderful 'World of Wilesco' this is Bruce.
That D2 walking stick is really really cool and I liked seeing it again.
Thanks for the baker fan measurements. I've been to the timber yard this morning in town and got some nice pieces of wood to try and make one.
I'll be back around your table soon to go over some more of your engines :)

Great stuff! The cane is just wild.
I totally agree, nothing is more satisfying than taking a beaten and abused engine and bringing in back better than new! My favorite engines are the ones that take the most work.

Somehow I missed your introduction Bruce.
You did a great job and I couldn’t have said it any better.
The hits just keep on coming too!
Your productivity is intimidating. 🤠

Yes Jim, & this plant is absolutely leak free on the engine itself, very well put together. one of the best applications for cartridge heater, you can literally run it till it wears out if you want to.

Well now, ain't that just the bee's knees!
Full on AWESOME there Bruce!!!
Can you show us the R/C installation and linkages that you've used to make this "Dream Come True"?
Whoops, sorry, I was referencing the fire engine, but while I was typing you put up a whole other series of videos, that I now have to go watch too. I suspect the same questions will apply however.

I must agree with Charlie and I will add that it is your midification work and the overall excellent condition of the collection that has made your line up so impressive.

I know there are more videos than I could expect anyone to watch (or want to) but it gives a good overall example of what the Simple Wilesco can be 😊

I am kinda feeling left out here. I have several of the SPS Jensen Engines....but no SPS Wilesco Engine.
We gotta change that! 🤠

Now, I'm pretty certain it's been Bruce-ified...!!!
Nice mod.

Bruce my friend ....... it seems your ingenuity (or should that be Engine-new-ity) seems to know no bounds.
Creative, prolific and fully competent at what you do. Impressed I am, and well impressed at that!!!

Hi Bruce,
Just went through the entire thread, in an attempt to get the "full picture" here :)
Already have commented on the stationary engines, but i really like the mobiles and their mods too.
Some of them even rebuilt pretty extensively, but all changes appear well pondered and very nicely executed.
Well done & thanks for sharing!
PS:
...and thanks for the the final movie, with the trio of traction engines, it just made me realise how stupid i was to let (almost) my entire Wilesco collection go.
Will definitely not be going for a complete collection again, but there is certainly a handful which will be added here again, including an older D40.

Jan ,I had "convinced" myself that Jensen's were the only thing to seriously collect & respect, that many of the other offerings went unappreciated for a very long time. Thank you for the nice words my friend.
