I have lots of footage to sort through (about 85 videos on my phone), but here’s a sample of everything from the steam up today (not all steam)
We left at 2:30 this morning for the 650 mile round trip, 9-1/2 hours of driving

Awesome Nick .... now that really was a Happy Birthday I'll bet!
Can't wait to see more of what you saw ... the teasers are great!!!
-
What a great way to celebrate your birthday Nick :)
Fantastic photage, can not wait to see more from this!

'North Dakota' sounds like you went to the Wild West Nick :)
Really enjoyed that, some great looking engines and how long was one of those drive belts! Boys looked liked they had a great time and I bet you did too :)
You must have been tired when you got home with a 2.30am start!! but I bet it was all worth it with a day of memories like that.

Looks like a great trip Nick.
Looking forward to seeing the footage once you have time to edit it.

Well, you did pick my favorite of the 3 at the show, that’s a 1/2 scale 110 HP that belongs to Jim Briden (owner of Larson Welding)
Here he is (on the right) with one of his grandsons operating. There is a cab for it, but his grandsons are big guys and it’s probably not too comfortable inside the cab...

Jim also has a full size 110 in his living room. And yes it does go outside and gets fired up 8)

Here’s a 1925 D that recently had a complete mechanical restoration. Was not given a full pull on the prony brake, more of a break in run. Hope to find a 1929 of this someday just like my great grandpa started farming with...
