A rare BING 4-6V electric motor 13885/2 made of cast iron in 1909 arrived here as a reimport from Holland in remarkably good condition
[attachimg=1]
It was sold 112 years ago by the Lehrmittel-Verlag Artur Pfau from Rudolstadt in Thuringia.
I have never seen this one before ...

The 20cm high BING transmission system 9956/120 of the same time period came in spring this year with a parts bundle from a German auction house.

Except for the shaft, all parts including a wooden plate with a badge were available and only needed to be completed.

Here the 1909 BING catalog pics.

For its age, the engine is indeed in exceptional condition. The same goes for the transmission.
Congratulations on the acquisition.

Very nice.
Have you gotten the motor to work?
