Got this water pump today from a neighbor.
He said it could be used as a paperweight.
After cleaning - it is a nice piece of cast iron
and it has a special rotary piston. I will make a video
within the next few days.
Funny - if you don't look for something, it will find you..
Arnold ;D

This is the type of pump used on Heinrici hot air engines.

Yes agree - when I saw it I thought of a Henrici hot air - it's the same design

Are you drooling Brent? :)
-
Oooh! I like that! 8)

Would be drooling if it had the hot engine attached! The Heinricis that had these pumps had a place on the engine base to mount them so would be difficult to fit to one of mine. Could easily be belted up to a steam or hot air engine for a nice display.

They called them wobbler pumps,
Trevor.

splash - it works - with the old Electric motor!
Enjoy Arnold ;D
A rare water pump that was originally coupled with a Henrici hot air motor - this was used to operate small room fountains for amusement in the Jugenstil period. Here serves as a drive "Electric" electric motor with original old installation - Attention not grounded!

If your neighbor has more "junk" like that, send it my way please. ;D

Thanks for the video Arnold.
It is great to see it running.
