Photographed crappy by the auction house and described as a "dreive model", no one has probably found it and if so, then not recognized what it is...

So I have stolen a super rare BING pendulum grinder #9956/444 from 1912 and two Transmissions at the starting price without any counter-bid! 😁

Last year these models were still mounted on a large wooden board with two steam engines and workshop models and had not been sold for 900+ €uros...

Now everything had been dismantled and offered in small lots at far less than their value... Lucky me...! 🥰

Good fortune Ranier , I've never seen such a accessory, what/how does the pendulum assist in the running ?

Bruce, this BING grinder is so rare, I have seen only three over many years.
One is mine now, the other is from a collector friend who is a BING collector, the third was sold many years ago in a lot.
The catalog picture of 1912 shows it with height adjustable desk and a rest on the left, but was probably never offered with those features.

The pendulum is not driven, its just a weight assisted swiveling grinding desk... if you push it, it swings for a while, that's all...!

Rainer - I think you now have too much of that stuff -
You better sell some to me - haha
Arnold ;D
(NB. never seen the swinging Bing before) very cool!

Arnold, If I had two of them, I would let one go to you... ;D
